Credit Suisse have been committed to sustainable development and climate protection for over a decade. During this time they have succeeded in reducing their carbon emissions, despite an increase in business volumes. An important milestone was reached in 2006 when Credit Suisse became the first major corporation in Switzerland to achieve GHG neutrality. To realise this goal for all their operations worldwide the “Credit Suisse Cares for Climate” initiative was launched providing the framework for their operational measures to protect the climate.
